Have You Supported AB PTA?

It's Not Too Late!

Thank you to the 95 families, out of about 275, who have shown support by joining and/or giving to the PTA so far this year!  It's greatly appreciated and all of our children will benefit.  If you haven't already done so please support your PTA today!  We are at 148 memberships with a goal of 300.  We cannot do it without YOUR support.

Your child will be receiving their order this week via the classroom and if you do not receive your spirit wear order by Thursday, please email me at sandrauoh@yahoo.com.

The only item that is not here is the Trucker hats and they will be here the first week of November.

Also I will be selling extra spirit wear on Friday …



BoxTops - Deadline Friday, October 16, 2015

It's time again for the easiest fundraiser we have at Adobe Bluffs.  Get your BoxTops ready because they are due October 16th!  The student with the most Boxtops can choose between a movie ticket or an hour jump session at Get Air.  And the class with the most BoxTops gets an Otter Pop party!!!


• Have them in a baggie in sets of 50 max

• Label the bags with student and teacher name

Last year Adobe Bluffs raised about $1000 from BoxTops alone!  Let's beat that number this year!

Also, be on the lookout for a labeled box in the office.  You will be able to drop off Boxtops anytime to make raising money even easier for you!

MON 10/19:  "Respect Ourselves, Make Healthy choices" Mileage club obstacle course run for red ribbon tokens.

TUES 10/20:  Lunch time signatures on bookmarks Character counts - Respect yourself and pledge to be drug free! 



"Let Your Imagination Fly" 2015-16 Reflections Theme - entry deadline, Monday, October 26th, 2015

EXPLORE THE ARTS!  PARTICIPATE IN PTA REFLECTIONS!!! Reflections is an annual PTA sponsored art recognition program that gives students, ages preschool through 12th grade, a chance to show off their talents, express themselves, and be recognized for their artistic endeavors.  Each year there is a different theme. 3rd Annual Shoe Drive!

Help raise money for Adobe Bluffs Elementary by donating unwanted or outgrown shoes.  They can be in any condition so long as they are in pairs.  Shoes with Heart cleans, repairs and recycles used shoes and sends them to developing nations for kids and adults who need shoes.  Please drop off your shoes in the marked shoe bins.  We will be collecting shoes until October 30th.

Silent Auction Help Needed!

Our annual Silent Auction will be held Friday, December 4th from 6-8 pm.  Let's all do our part to help Adobe Bluffs Educational Foundation raise enough money for new Chromebooks for our school!

You can help by:

• Donating an auction item from your small business or company.  Have a connection at a local restaurant?  Do you have a special skill you could share? - singing lessons, art lessons...  Have a connection for hotel stays, electronics, sports equipment, jewelry or other items?  Please let us know.  Open to your ideas!!!

• Help solicit donations from local businesses - restaurants, kid's activities, fun outings, sports/celebrity memorabilia, hotel stays

• Coordinate an art piece from your class to sell at the auction

• Help on the day of the event
