FLL is for ages 9 to 14. We need 3 new coaches to start a new FLL team in September. The FLL kits absolutely must be ordered by August 27th to ensure delivery and time to form a team. If we dont have 3 new volunteers to coach, then we will not launch a new team this year. (The two existing teams filled up from the parents who replied to requests sent out in the May newsletter.)
Coaching requires 2 or 3 sessions a week, 1-2 hours per session. At least one of the coaches volunteers a garage or similar workplace to hold the practice table (dimensions 4′ x 8′). The FLL Nature’s Fury challenge is released on August 27th, so we must know ASAP who will fill this void. Please reply to abesfll@gmail.com if you are seriously interested in coaching FLL.
